BECK BROTHERS. The firm of Beck Brothers, a dealer of wines and liquors, was located at the corner of Tenth and Jackson STREETS in the late 1800s. Nick Beck (Luxemburg, Germany, Oct. 5, 1883-- ) came to America in 1857 and arrived in Dubuque on June 6th of the same year. William Beck (Luxemburg, Germany, Dec. 8, 1835-- ) came to America in 1857 and arrived in Dubuque the same year.
