The drug business Williard H. TORBERT carried on was established by Timothy Mason, in 1837. Torbert was succeeded in the business by P.C. Sampson who had been his partner. In 1874, Torbert operated a drug store at 756 Main. In 1882 he began to deal in the wholesale drug trade.
