Manufactured by [[A.Y.MCDONALD MANUFACTURING COMPANY]], the UFR allows measurement of water flows in residences below 1/4 gallon per minutes--such as leaks and drips--that have previously been unmeasurable. In 2010 Dubuque became the first city in Iowa to install UFRs.
