SISTER CITY. The purposes of the Sister City Advisory Commission are:
1) to facilitate and maintain economic and cultural exchanges with the
City's officially recognized international Sister Cities
2) to explore potential relationships with cities where a Sister City may
be mutually beneficial
3) to engage partnerships with the business community and educational
institutions that will enhance Sister City relationships
Membership on the Commission included eleven members appointed by the City Council to three-year staggered terms and two city council representatives coordinated through the city clerk.
