HERRMANN, Henry. (Dubuque, IA, May 1, 1888--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 20, 1978). Long associated with the Herrmann Furniture Conpany, Henry Herrmann donated his interest in the museum assembled by his father, [[HERRMANN, Richard|Richard HERRMANN]], to the [[DUBUQUE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY]]. Proceeds of '''Land of Promise and Fulfillment''', a book of city memories and family biography written by Herrmann in 1972, were donated to the Masonic Temple and the Historical Society.
