REYNOLDS, Wanda L. (Anadarko, OK, Oct. 5, 1924--Dubuque, IA, July 26, 2014). The daughter of James Melvin and Lou Willie (Howell) Tindel, Wanda married James Lee Reynolds on March 11, 1950 in Waurika, Oklahoma.
Wanda moved to Dubuque with her family in September of 1969. James was the minister at the Dubuque Church of Christ. Wanda worked at the CARNEGIE-STOUT PUBLIC LIBRARY for eighteen years as the Children's Programmer and became well known in Dubuque as the "Storybook Lady." She retired from that position in 1987.
