CZIZEK, Matt. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 9, 1883--Dubuque, IA, Nov. 18, 1959). A past president of the Dubuque County Bar Association, Czizek served from 1914 to 1936 as the city solicitor. He was a president of the board of the CARNEGIE-STOUT PUBLIC LIBRARY, DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, and former chairman of the Dubuque chapter of the American Red Cross.
