ROLLING, John J. "Jack" (Dubuque, IA, May 13, 1928--Dubuque, IA, Nov. 20, 2014). Jack was the son of Leo F. and Pearl C. (Chapman) Rolling. Graduating from LORAS COLLEGE in 1950, he was an officer in the Iowa National Guard and obtained the rank of captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Rolling owned and managed ROLLING'S BOOTERY for over fifty-eight years. He was co-founder of ST. STEPHEN'S FOOD BANK and worked there for over 35 years.

Jack received the Governor's volunteer award for work in the MINES OF SPAIN.
