HOFFMANN, Mabel (Mrs. Alois). (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, May 11, 1982). Charter member, Mary's Day Committee. Hoffmann, the former co-owner of Hoffmann-Tierney Mortuary, served as a member of the International Federation of Catholic Alumnae, Home Department and committee chairman of the [[DUBUQUE FEDERATED WOMEN'S CLUB]], and a member of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary. A graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, Hoffmann attended [[CLARKE COLLEGE]] and was an officer of St. Joseph's Academy Alumnae.
