In 1944 McKay served as chairman of the Dubuque Ration Board. MCKAY, Richard Vincent. (Milton, MA, Oct. 17, 1884--Dubuque, IA, July 25, 1958). McKay, secretary-treasurer from 1922 to 1942 of the MCFADDEN COFFEE AND SPICE COMPANY became the director of the Associated Coffee Industries of America in 1928. He served a number of years on the board of directors of the National Coffee Roasters Association. McKay was a delegate in 1934 to the coffee department of Brazil as a guest of the Brazilian government. In 1946 he was the secretary-manager of the KEY CITY GAS COMPANY. (1)
