MCKAY, Richard Vincent. (Milton, MA, Oct. 17, 1884--Dubuque, IA, July 25, 1958).  McKay, secretary-treasurer from 1922 to 1942 of the [[MCFADDEN COFFEE AND SPICE COMPANY]] became the director of the Associated Coffee Industries of America in 1928 and served a number of years on the board of directors of the National Coffee Roasters Association. He was a delegate in 1934 to the coffee department of Brazil as a guest of the Brazilian government.

McKay served as a member of the first board of directors of the Dubuque Community Chest, director of the Federal Bank and Trust Company, board member for the [[DUBUQUE BOYS' CLUB]], and president of the Chamber of Commerce from 1924 to 1925. He was one of the original members and later secretary of the Planning and Zoning Commission. McKay was also secretary of [[SUNNYCREST SANITORIUM]] and served on its board of directors.
