ORMSBY, Frank E. (Lewis Co., NY, Feb. 10, 1857--Unknown). In 1880 Ormsby operated the only steam laundry in Dubuque at 890 Main Street. He was also in the business of manufacturing shirts, collars, and cuffs.
ORMSBY, Frank E. (Lowville, NY, Feb. 10, 1857--Unknown). In 1880 Ormsby operated the Steam Laundry, the only one of its kind in Dubuque at 890 Main Street. (1) He apparently left the city to return to his hometown, because a newspaper column in 1885 stated he was returning to Dubuque to manufacture shirts, collars, and cuffs with his brother S. A. Ormsby. (2)
