HANCOCK, John Samuel. (Dubuque, IA, Apr. 27, 1850-Jan. 19, 1883). Cattleman. Hancock, son of [[HANCOCK, John T.|John T. HANCOCK]], was a partner in the wholesale grocery business of his father until 1880. He moved to New Mexico and entered the cattle business with his firm, The Dubuque Cattle Co.
