MyDBQ. In June, 2015, the City of Dubuque began offering a new mobile device app that allowed residents to connect more easily with city government, and report issues such as pothole repairs and park maintenance requests.

The app, called 'MyDBQ,' was free and ready to download, integrating with the city's current response management system. Residents who had submitted requests in the past through the city website could use the same login and password for the app. It offers more than two dozen different request types including pothole repair, garbage complaints, improper vehicle storage, and park maintenance requests. Users could also take and submit photos with their request for service.

MyDBQ also had sub-features including links to the city's website, current job postings and links to pay utility bills and parking tickets.
