KUNNERT'S SPORTS. In 1976, Kunnert's Sports was founded at Third and Locust STREETS by Pat and Bill Kunnert as a "one-stop" shop for sports apparel and equipment. The business also offered team uniforms and lettering, screen printing and trophy engraving.

The company was listed as Kunnert's Sporting Goods Company (Division of Jaeger-Kunnert Company) at 302 Locust through 2015 when it closed.

The company's slogan was "The Champion's Choice."
