The 1859-1860 through 1873-74 Dubuque City Directory listed "John Maclay" at 158 Main.

The 1875-1876 through 1880 Dubuque City Directory placed the company at 768 Main.

The 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed the corner of 6th and Main for a collection agency.
