KAESBAUER, Sue E. (Galena, IL, July 20, 1936--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 1, 2014) The daughter of Harold J. and Susan E. (Grove) Houy, Sue graduated from DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in 1954. On April 9, 1955, Sue married Joseph Kaesbauer, in Dubuque. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2009.

After high school, she worked as an assistant at the FISCHER COMPANIES (THE), where she learned much about business from Louis PFOHL. She then worked as a bookkeeper at DUBUQUE INSULATION AND SIDING COMPANY. She was cofounder of CREATIVE TOUCH GALLERY and OOH LA LA.
