Tom Weig (lower left) with Dick Buscher and the Cliches

WEIG, Thomas J. (Dubuque, IA, June 30, 1944--Warrenton, MO, Aug. 6, 2008). Musician. Weig left his employment at Sears to open Weig Violin. He played bass with Rock and Roll, a band started in high school. He later performed with Dick Buscher and the Cliches, Linda and the Classics and Secrets. He started his own band, After Midnight. He was inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
