The factory was located in Marine, Kentucky with the leather goods shipped to Dubuque for finishing. Capital invested in the company in 1867 was $100,000 on which the firm earned $300,000. There were fourteen employees. (1)


The 1859-1860 through 1873-74 ''Dubuque City Directory'' stated that this business was located at 44 Main.  
The 1858-1859 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed 105 1/2 Main.

L. D. RANDALL AND COMPANY. In 1867 L. D. Randall and Company was the oldest established firm in the city. The factory was located in Marine, Kentucky with the leather goods shipped to Dubuque for finishing. Capital invested in the company in 1867 was $100,000 on which the firm earned $300,000.
