KOUTRE, Madonna M. (Dubuque, IA, July 17, 1911--Stevens Point, WI, Dec. 13, 2013. The daughter of Philip H. and Bertha M. (Gray) Stemper, Madonna married James Koutre on June 29, 1929. She and her husband owned and operated DIAMOND'S CAFETERIA AND GRILLE for many years. They were also among the original investors in BETTY JANE CANDIES where she also worked in its early days.
