(San Diego, CA, June 17, 1957--Dubuque, IA, July 23, 2020) The son of David and Margaret (Power) Wulfekuhle, Michael grew up in Fayette, IA and graduated from Fayette Community High School. He attend [[LORAS COLLEGE]] and graduated in 1979 with a degree in Secondary Education and History. He married Karen (Fessler) Wulfekuhle on July 28, 1979 in Fayette, IA. They had three children and four grandchildren in their forty years of marriage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mike was a dedicated coach and teacher for over 40 years. He began his teaching career at Holy Ghost and moved to [[DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL]] after a few years of teaching. He taught for 39 years before retiring in 2019. He coached basketball, football, and baseball through his years in the community. His coaching extended to his grandchildren in the last seven years as they began their athletic careers.&lt;br /&gt;
