New page

WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP NETWORK OF DUBUQUE. Networking opportunity for women seeking to improve and expand their business contacts and businesses. On April 22, 2008, the organization honored its first “Women of Achievement.” Two women were recognized in each of five categories, selected from a field of eighty-two nominees named by family, friends, and co-workers for significant contributions in their professional, personal and volunteer roles in the community. Honorees were named on the basis of addressing important issues, being positive influences, using creativity or innovation in problem-solving, overcoming challenges, mentoring, and compiling sustained records of accomplishment and contribution to their field.
