	Weber became active in bowling in 1938 as a participant and sponsor. He participated in the city tournament for 26 years, state tournament for 25 years, ABC tournament for 24 years, and the Petersen Classic in Chicago for 20 years. He was also entered into the [[DUBUQUE BOWLING ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME]]. His lifetime average was 185. 			Equally known as a sponsor as the owner of the [[KING OF CLUBS]], Weber sponsored more than 200 teams in Dubuque leagues and city tournaments, sent 28 teams to the ABC national tournament 45 teams to the Iowa State Tournament and sponsored as many as 10 teams in a single season. He originated the sponsored the King of Clubs mixed doubles tournament which was held annually for nineteen years.
