New page

VALENTINE PARK. Once considered by the [[DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT]] as the site of an elementary school, Valentine Park was located at the intersection of Valentine and Cody drives. An eleven-acre parcel, the ground was planned to be developed at a cost of $500,000 to include a ball field, open play area, a hard-surfaced area with basketball courts and a playground. Construction began in the fall of 1997.
