New page

UNISON SOLUTIONS. Biogas developer Unison Solutions and [[HODGE COMPANIES]] in 2019 announced plans for a $1.8 million 20,000-square-foot building near the existing Hodge Companies building at 5301 Chavenelle Road. Unison was founded in 2000 to produce biogas and compressed natural gas vehicle systems. The company's systems were installed around the world and landfills, waste-water treatment pants, dairies, and breweries to capture, purify and convert gases created through decomposition of waste products for heat and electricity. The fuel can be used to generate electricity, fuel vehicles, or added to natural gas pipelines.

The company which in 2019 employed more than 50 workers in Dubuque added an estimated twenty jobs since 2017.
