The Town Clock Inn, a familiar Dubuque pizza restaurant, opened for business in 1970, and remained owned by the same family for three generations. On April 29, 2021 the closure of the restaurant was announced. A victim of the [[PANDEMIC]], the business was too large for Irene Nelson and her co-owner husband who tried to run the business alone due to a lack of staffing.

			On May 21, 2021 the announcement was made that the pizzeria was reopening at the site of the Junction 21 restaurant in Peosta. (1)
