He was a part of 15 league championships and reached a peak in his career in 1976 winning two titles at the ABC Seniors Class D National Championship. He also won Iowa state seniors championships for scratch singles, handicap singles and all- events in 1992 and scored six national honor counts. He assisted with the junior program for many years.
