	ST. ALPHONSUS SOCIETY. St. Alphonsus Society was organized on October 14, 1867, by The Rev. A. Meis, Henry Wernimont, Jacob Klauer, Conrad Meis, August Domes, Henry Willging, Mathias Weber, Hermann Kuhlmanu and Xavier Gruber. The objects of the Society were to assist the sick, bury the dead, aid in the support of the widows of members.		ST. ALPHONSUS SOCIETY.
