	In ~~1881~~ Schroeder entered the wholesale grocery business with J. H. Kleine. Along with Kleine, F. A. Rumpf, and Mrs. J. P. Ferring, Schroeder incorporated his business to in 1892 form the [[SCHROEDER-KLEINE GROCER COMPANY]] in which he served as president.		In 1882 Schroeder entered into partnership in the wholesale grocery business with J. H. Kleine. Along with Kleine, F. A. Rumpf, and Mrs. J. P. Ferring, Schroeder incorporated his business in 1892 to form the [[SCHROEDER-KLEINE GROCER COMPANY]] in which he served as president.
