He also competed on the wrestling team and served as an assistant coach.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He has since served on the board of directors of Every Child/Every Promise, [[DUBUQUE BLACK MEN COALITION]], [[DUBUQUE DREAM CENTER]], St. Mark Youth Enrichment, Radius Church, Steeple Square, and the Iowa Recycling Association. In August 2017 he facilitated the Back to School Bash in [[COMISKEY PARK]] to help ensure that students going back to school had supplies and backpacks on the first day.  His interest in education led him to campaign for and achieve a position on the school board for the [[DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT]]. He has also volunteered with such programs as Circles Initiatives, My Brother&amp;#039;s Keeper and Road to Success for Teens.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In 2016 Sainci was appointed by the Governor of Iowa to a three-year term on the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service In 2017 he was named a Millennial Impact Fellow by New Profit, a national nonprofit venture philanthropy fund, for his commitment to social justice.&lt;br /&gt;
