Louis Metz, board president, said that several members of the majority on the board had entered into an agreement with Prall that later had to be amended including a provision that Prall would have had a role to play in the selection of teachers for the coming year and an understanding that the superintendent would suggest the various standing committees appointed at the board's last session.
