The business was renamed [[GEORGE G. PERRY AND BROTHER]]. Perry became the editor of the [[DUBUQUE TIMES]].		In 1873 Perry became a partner in the grocery of [[STANDISH AND PERRY]]. Standish left the business in 1883 and was replaced by W. R. Perry, a younger brother of George. The business was renamed [[GEORGE G. PERRY AND BROTHER]]. Perry became the editor of the [[DUBUQUE TIMES]].
