	MORHISER, William H. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 28, 1844--Wichita Falls, TX, Jan. 20, 1844). Morhiser attended school in Dubuque and after the [[CIVIL WAR]] broke out, he enlisted in Co. H, 16th I.V.I. After serving eighteen months in that regiment, he served as headquarters scout for the First Brigade, McCook's Division, in the Army of the Cumberland.
