	MAZZUCHELLI MIDDLE SCHOOL. On April 12, 2006 Archbishop [[HANUS, Jerome\|Jerome HANUS]] officially proclaimed the name of [[HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC SCHOOLS]] new middle school. The naming honored Dominican missionary, [[MAZZUCHELLI, Samuel\|Samuel MAZUCHELLI]] organized the first Catholic school in Dubuque, guided the construction of [[ST. RAPHAEL'S CATHEDRAL]] and twenty othr churches, and organized more than forty parishes. The name was chosen from the favorites of faculty and parishioners during February and March.
