	LUCHSINGER, Richard G. (Dubuque, IA, Sept. 15, 1943--Dubuque, IA, Dec. 27, 2024) The son of Raymond and Angeline (Nacos) Luchsinger in Dubuque, Iowa, Richard attended [[JACKSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL]] and [[FULTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL]], [[WASHINGTON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL]] and [[DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL]]. In 1961, Richard enrolled in the [[UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE]], later completing coursework at Iowa State University and the University of Minnesota. After nine years of coursework, Rich obtained an architect license and joined a small firm in Madison. He eventually left Wisconsin and joined the Durant Group in Rockford, Illinois and then returned to Dubuque to assist the City of Dubuque on the construction of the [[FIVE FLAGS CIVIC CENTER]].
