KLAWITTER, Eileen. (Dubuque, IA, Dec. 7, 1923--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 24, 1977). Employed at the City Planning and Zoning Office, Klawitter was a retired WAVE having served in pharmaceutical medical care at the Chelsea Naval Hospital during [[WORLD WAR II]].

In Dubuque she was member of the Order of Eastern Star for over forty years and held many chapter offices. She was a also a former member of the Masonic Temple Association board. She was a member of the Dubuque Rifle Club for many years; TTT Society, Chapter BX, a women's charitable organization; and the Past Matrons Electra Club.
