	JOHN TIBEY. ~~Tibey~~, a contractor of stone work and owner of a stone quarry of Dubuque, was the son of Patrick Tibey from Limerick, Ireland, who emigrated to the United States in 1850. 3d of May, 1862. 	John Tibey learned the stone mason's trade as a youth and worked for two years with Mr. O'Hara, a prominent stone contractor of Cedar Rapids. He then returned to Dubuque began business for himself. He opened up a stone quarry and entered into contracts for the lying of foundations. Tibey was the son of Patrick Tibey who moved to Dubuque from Limeriek, Ireland in 1850 and was also a stone mason.
