	JANSEN, John. (Dubuque, IA, Nov. 19, 1897--Tucson, AZ, Mar. 30,1967). Jansen attended grade and high school in Dubuque and then was hired as an assistant cashier by the [[FEDERAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY]]. In 1921 he joined the [[FEDERAL DISCOUNT CORPORATION]] and was promoted to the office of assistant treasurer. He served in this position until 1932. He was elected president of the firm in 1933.
