Bissell residence, plans for an addition to the Fourth Ward School, and a Victorian triplex at 186 Bluff in Dubuque and the German Evangelical Society church in Ackley. (3) He remained in Dubuque twelve years. (4) He was also the architect who planned a large hotel for the city of Allison in 1879. (5) In 1887 he served as secretary of the Architectural Association of Iowa.
