The simple cement-block church at 853 South Grandview was constructed in 1969 to accommodate an estimated one hundred people. 	In 2005 ~~the~~ twenty families worshiped in the church with the congregation ranging over the years from 11 to 70. In 2004 a third-of the congregation ~~was~~ lost due to job transfers. Despite its size, the church offered many of the same features as larger churches including, Bible studies, weekly prayer meetings, vacation Bible school, mission trips and Sunday School for all ages. (1) Outreach programs included collection out-of-date calendars for a missionary in the Philippines which cut out the pictures for use in making spiritual cards. (2) Junior and senior high students belonging to the church also participated in their first "fast" to raise money for those in need.
