His formal musical training in piano, voice, and trumpet, cultivated his interest in music composition.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Tim received a B.A. in Music from [[CLARKE UNIVERSITY]], where he studied composition with Dr. Amy Dunker. In 2014 he studied composition under the guidance of Dr. Tadashi Kubo in Kagoshima, Japan. He completed his Masters of Music in Composition in at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He studied composition there with Dr. Michael Schelle and Dr. Frank Felice. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Tim&amp;#039;s music has been performed across the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan. Works have been performed by the [[DUBUQUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA]] and the International Trumpet Guild. He participated in collaborations with the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Arizona State. (1)&lt;br /&gt;
