	Over the next 30 years of his life, he was a valued part of the music community. As a member of the Dubuque-based [[LAVENDAR HILL]] band which was active from 1964 to 1979, Finger played a double kick drum ~~which was~~ virtually unknown among local performers. He also performed with other groups as the Mike Reiss Band and 3 in the Attic. He was so proficient that a agency arranged for him to perform with such nationally known musicians as Ronnie Milsap and Roy Orbison.		Over the next 30 years of his life, he was a valued part of the music community. George Rondinelli of [[RONDINELLI MUSIC/AUDIO]] opened his business in 1977 and counted Finger as a customer and later an employee who sold musical instruments and sound equipment. In recent years, Finger served [[HOPE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH]] as their sound/production engineer.
