	In 1996 Deb Fordice, a teacher at [[AUDUBON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL]] won the award which was used for new computers and technology in the classroom. In 1997 Carol Duehr, a teacher at [[FULTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL]] won the honor. In 1998 the award was presented to Deb Stevens, a music teacher in the [[DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT]] for teaching jazz an jazz improvisation to elementary students.
