	In May 1891, the ''Dubuque Daily Herald'' announced that fourteen "elegant" boats had been received from New York. They would either be rented or sold. (1) In April 1892 boat house officials announced an addition of fifty feet in length to "one of the boat houses" making it the largest on the river between St. Paul and New Orleans. Another carload of boats and canoes had also arrived. (2)		In May 1891, the ''Dubuque Daily Herald'' announced that fourteen "elegant" boats had been received from New York. They would either be rented or sold. 			In 1904 the boat house offered three boats--the Eagle Point, Chief, and Lake City--for rent by the hour, day or week with experienced engineers. Those wishing to picnic above [[EAGLE POINT]] could be transported to the site of their choice in the morning and picked up in the evening. For those wishing to fish, minnows and tackle was offered for sale. (3)

			On October 14, 1907 the announcement was made that the Eagle Point Boat House Company which was in the business of "owning and keeping row boats, ferry boats, gasoline engines for hire and storage had turned over all of its property and assets to [[FENGLER, Edwin A.\|Edwin A. FENGLER]]. Those having claims had three months to present them for payment. (4)
