	DUBUQUE PARADISE CHURCH. Originally constructed in 1923 as a Lutheran church, the building at 2501 Jackson in 2016 was leased as the Dubuque Paradise Church. The idea for the project was that of Sister [[HUEWE, Helen\|Helen HUEWE]]. Renovation began immediately with a fundraising program. Raising about $220,000 meant work could begin replacing the roof, installing two boilers, and rewiring large sections of the building.
