	Dubuque Marina Inc., the company operating the boat harbor, announced in 1957 that work had been finished on a combined office, store and restaurant building next to the harbor. There was also another building to be used as a boat repair shop and a float to which boat owners could park to refill gasoline tanks. In June, slabs of concrete had been formed to create a ramp for launching boats.Plans for the future included a "well" to be used in lifting boats out of the water. A small crane had already been purchased. Parking for an estimated one hundred automobiles was being constructed.
