	DUBUQUE AREA CONGREGATIONS UNITED. Founded in 1979, the organization was originally known as the Dubuque Area Christians United. In 1994, the organization voted 17-11 to revise its by-laws, open its memberships to all faiths, and rename itself. [[TEMPLE BETH-EL]], Dubuque only Jewish congregation, joined DACU in 1995.
