&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;DUBUQUE ACES. The Aces, created in 1986, was the longest existing of four local women&amp;#039;s tennis teams, in 1997. It consisted of thirteen members which traveled the Midwest competing at United States Tennis Association amateur matches. The competitors between the ages of 28 and 67 were classified by a ranking system for competitive players from 1.0 to 7.0. Players ranked 7.0 were considered professional. Weekend players were ranked around 3.0. Most of the Aces were ranked between 3.5 and 4.0.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Dubuque club was assigned to a division each season by the by the USTA coordinator for the district. The team played a five-game round-robin schedule throughout the winter season from January to May. The winner of each division in the winter earned a position in the district tournament in the summer. The district tournament led to the sectional tournament in Kansas City, Missouri and then the nationals. &lt;br /&gt;
