The son of Frank J. and Elizabeth (Klein) Dolter, Paul married Elizabeth &amp;quot;Betty&amp;quot; McCurdy on October 1, 1955, at [[ST. MARY&amp;#039;S CATHOLIC CHURCH]]. He graduated from [[LORAS ACADEMY]] in 1949 and the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1967. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Paul was employed by Eaton Corporation for 33 years. He began his career at Eaton as a Product Engineer. He was awarded patents for various valve designs and was a member of the Eaton Inventors Club. He then became a Quality Control Specialist for manufacturing plants in Hanover and Savanna. He eventually became plant manager at Eaton factories in Savanna, Hanover, Warren, and Batavia. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Paul actively participated in Power of Prayer and supported Right to Life, and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Savanna, Illinois.&lt;br /&gt;
