			CyCare officials announced on October 21, 1993 that the company was selling its practice management division to Medaphis Corp. of Atlanta, Georgia for $24 million. The division provided billing services and managed accounts receivable services for hospital-affiliated physicians. The sale was said to allow the company to focus attention on its group-practice products. The company in 1993 had product, sales, and service centers in Dubuque and eleven other cities. (1)
